The Unior 1695MB1-US Crank Saver kit repairs stripped or cross-threaded pedal threads in crank arms, so a damaged crank can often be saved instead of replaced.
- Reaming taps cut oversized 5/8" x 24 TPI threads in the damaged crank arm
- A thread insert is then fitted with thread locker and the pedal threads into the insert
- Practical for bike shops dealing with cross-threaded or stripped cranks
