Returns, Exchanges & Warranty Policy
At D Byk Store, we want you to love what you ride. This policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and clear on where responsibilities lie.
Damaged Delivery
If the outer packaging is visibly damaged at the time of delivery, do not accept the parcel. Allow it to return to us so we can resolve the issue directly with the courier.
Return & Exchange Eligibility
We accept returns and exchanges under the following conditions:
- Wrong item received — Email us within 48 hours with photos/video
- Damaged or missing part — Email us within 48 hours with proof
- Functional defect — Email us within 7 days
- Size issue — See Size Exchange section below

Size Exchanges
- Wrong size sent by us — We arrange pickup at our cost and send the correct size

Correct size sent but doesn't fit:
- Return shipping is your responsibility
- Alternatively, we can arrange pickup for ₹300
- Item must be unused, unwashed, and in original resellable condition
- You may exchange for another product of equal or higher value (price difference payable if applicable)
- Forward shipping of the exchanged item is at your cost

Partial Returns
Partial returns from combo orders are accepted. The same eligibility and condition rules apply.
Refunds
- Approved returns will be refunded to the original payment method within 5–7 working days
- Voluntary returns (change of mind / cancellation) will receive store credit only
- Refund status updates will be sent via WhatsApp and Email
Non-Returnable & Non-Exchangeable Items
The following are not eligible for return or exchange unless a manufacturing defect is reported within the applicable window:
- Hygiene items: cycling shorts, jerseys, socks, gloves
- Refurbished, demo, or stock swap units (final sale)
- Discounted, sale, or promotional products
- Shimano products (unless wrong/damaged — report within 48 hours)
- Custom or special order items
- Used, installed, or washed products
- Bontrager OE (original equipment) parts
- Consumables: tyres, tubes, chains, brake pads (unless defective — report within 7 days)
Bicycles are not eligible for return or exchange under any circumstances. In the case of a genuine defect, the faulty part will be repaired or replaced under warranty.
Cancellations
- Unfulfilled orders — Orders cancelled before fulfilment will receive a full refund or store credit
- Fulfilled orders (pickup not completed) — If the order has been fulfilled/processed but has not yet been picked up by the courier, a 5% cancellation charge will apply to cover payment gateway, platform, and logistics processing fees. The remaining amount will be refunded to the original payment method.
- Orders picked up by courier — Once the shipment has been picked up by the courier, the order cannot be cancelled.
- Refund status updates will be shared via WhatsApp and Email
Warranty
Issues reported after 7 days will be treated as warranty cases. You may:
- Contact the brand's authorised distributor or service center directly, or
- Email us at akshay@dbykstore.com and we'll guide you through the process
Bontrager & Trek Aftermarket Products Eligible aftermarket products come with:
- 30-Day Unconditional Guarantee
- Crash Replacement on Helmets
- Carbon Care Loyalty Programme
These apply only to eligible products purchased from authorised sellers. Items must be cleaned before return.
How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

- Include your order number, issue description, and photos/video
- We'll respond within 1–2 working days with next steps
