The Muc-Off Tubeless Rim Tape is a durable, long-lasting rim tape designed to create a reliable airtight seal for tubeless bike tyre setups. Made from Muc-Off's proprietary performance material, it uses a pressure-sensitive adhesive that provides the right amount of stretch while maintaining the strength and durability needed for a lasting seal.

The semi-transparent material makes it easy to locate the valve hole during installation, while the tape is engineered to stretch and conform to the contours of the rim. Supplied as a 10m roll with 4 seal patches, it is available in multiple widths to suit a wide range of Road, CX, Gravel, MTB, and Plus-sized rims.

How to Use

1. Clean the rim thoroughly to remove residue from any previous setup.
2. Select the correct rim tape width based on your wheel's internal rim width.
3. Locate the valve hole.
4. Peel back a section of the tape and begin applying it on the opposite side of the valve hole.
5. Press the tape firmly onto the rim while gradually rotating the wheel.
6. Continue applying the tape around the entire rim, maintaining consistent pressure.
7. Create an overlap of approximately 10–15cm once you reach the starting point.
8. Cut the tape at a 45-degree angle and press the edge firmly into place.
9. Check for air bubbles or gaps and press down firmly where required.
10. Apply a finishing patch over the edge of the tape.
11. Push the tubeless valve through the valve hole and secure it with the O-ring and locking ring.
12. Refit the tyre and inflate before adding tubeless sealant.
