The Lake TX224 is a purpose-built triathlon shoe designed around one idea: fast transitions shouldn't come at the cost of fit or comfort. A large power strap secures the foot for the ride, a speed lace system dials in pressure distribution before the race, and a heel loop makes it easy to grab and pull the shoe on mid-transition.

This listing is the Competition Last (Regular width) — the mid-volume, balanced option of the three lasts the TX224 is offered in (Race/Narrow, Competition/Regular, Comfort Plus/Wide). A balanced shape with a touch more forefoot room than the Race last, suited to most foot shapes. Riders with wider or higher-volume feet should look at the TX224-X Comfort Plus.
