The Lake CX178-X is the wide-fit version of the CX178, built for riders who need more room across the forefoot without giving up race-day performance. It carries over the same Sport Comfort Last shaping, microfibre upper, and BOA® L6 closure — just with extra volume through the toe box for a more relaxed, pressure-free fit.

Fit
Recommended for riders with broader feet or those who've found the standard CX178 tight across the ball of the foot. If you're unsure, the regular CX178 is the true-to-size option.

Add ~5mm to your measured foot length to get correct shoe size. Wide adds ~8-9mm forefoot volume over the regular CX178.
